Recorded in January of 2017 with a huge cast of characters, UNLIMITED is the sophomore release from the midwest's super group. While their self titled debut saw an amalgamation of guitar riffs, UNLIMITED is of course still filled with plenty of guitars, however it also introduces sax, synth, and strings. Dive in, and think of a national park.

Recorded live, February 10th, 2018, on a blustery winter night in Grand Rapids, Michigan at The Wealthy Theatre. To say that we went for it would be an understatement. I mean, for one thing, Will Thomas, made over one hundred cardboard televisions to put all over the stage. It was a blast. Huge thanks to the WYCE, GRTV, and Grand Rapids Community Media Center crews for pulling out all the stops for this one.

This album has been a passion project over the last several months. It began during quarantine 2020. Once life as a touring musician and sound engineer became a thing of the past, I realized I had to pivot so I started building up my home studio. I roll with a microphone, a synth, a drum machine, and my guitar. It’s not Sound City by any means but it keeps me productive and humbled.
When 2021 reared its head, I thought it would be interesting to try a different way of releasing music. For the first four months, I released three tracks on the first Friday. In February, I released ‘Three Songs’, in March ‘Three more Songs’, April was ‘Three additional Songs’, and I finished in May with ‘Three final Songs’.
That’s what you’re hearing now, the collection of those releases put forth as ‘Twelve Songs’. The most interesting part of putting this album together for me was the timeline. Trying to write, record, mix, and master twelve songs in four months was a tall order however I came out on the other side with a deeper understanding of songwriting and how music plays a vital role in my life.
